Minutes for February 2005
Dues were collected from 14 members.
Several new members were added.
Mike Byrum put on a wine demonstration focusing on Chardonnays and Merlots
The differences were noted in the price of wine versus taste
Samples of both styles of wine made at a club meeting the year before were sampled
Most agreed the home made was as good or better than the store bought.
The club voted on calling the club Central Arkansas Fermenters
A logo was voted on and will be added to mugs, glasses and T-shirts for fund raising
Ken Haycook handed out information on the upcoming Bluebonnet Beer Competition in Texas
