To promote better beer and provide positive feedback, the club will start monthly competition.

1.   Schedule for brew competition

June – English Bitters

       Kirk Wasson was the only competitor earning him 6 points

       The beer was judged and scored an average of 35 points.

 July –Big Brew Beers

 Aug – Belgian and French Ales – AHA Club entry

 Sept – European Amber Lager - AHA Club entry

 October – Oktoberfest

November – Baltic Porter - AHA Club entry

December – Winter Warmer

2.   Monthly winners will accumulate points for HOMEBREWER OF THE YEAR Award

•  1^st place with 3 points

• 2^nd place gets 2 points

• 3^rd place gets 1 point.

At the December meeting, the brewer with the most points is awarded CAF Homebrewer of Year

and receive a $25 gift certificate to Fermentables.
